Oxygen when You Need It Most,
where You Need It Most.
NOVAIR's MOGS (Mobile Oxygen Generating System) fills your D, E, M and H/K cylinders right at the station using ambient air and standard electricity. Trailer and container options put the same system directly at the scene of the emergency to save more lives.

Your Response Time Should Not Depend on a Delivery Truck
Cylinders go out on calls and don't always come back full. Crews shouldn't have to hunt for a full oxygen tank at shift change.
Oxygen is a line item you should control. Rental fees, hazmat charges, and annual increases get added on to a budget that was set months ago.
In a storm, mass casualty event, or regional surge, the vendor you work with is serving everyone else too. That is exactly when deliveries stop.
"The MOGS 100 Oxygen Generator has run almost flawlessly in our system. It is an extremely reliable unit and well worth the investment."
From Waiting on Deliveriesto Filling Your Own Cylinders.
BEFORE: A standing order you do not control, cylinders that disappear between agencies, and a supply chain that gets thinner the moment a real emergency starts
AFTER: Crews fill their own cylinders at the station from ambient air and standard electricity, at an ecomically viable cost you can budget years out

Ambient Air In. Full Cylinders Out.
Air and Power In
The MOGS runs on the ambient air we breathe using single-phase power at your facility. No bulk storage, no vendor infrastructure on your property.
PSA Separation and Compression
Pressure Swing Adsorption separates air molecules to allow a direct output of oxygen, with constant gas quality monitoring.
Crews Fill on Site
H/K cylinders are filled directly or run to a cascade system. D cylinders fill in the blast containment drawer.

Hundreds of Locations Already Filling Their Own
First responders in the City of Selma fill D-sized cylinders daily in the blast containment chamber, two at a time, to about 2,200 psi. The two H/K-sized cylinders on the back connect to a cascade system, so Selma can supply emergency teams across the area.
On the stored pressure alone, a crew can fill 10 to 15 cylinders before the machine needs to rebuild, and it climbs back to 1,800 to 2,200 psi on its own while it sits.
Daniel Diaz, EMS Supervisor · City of Selma, California
"These machines have been phenomenal for us. They keep our ambulances going with little or no downtime. We love these machines and are very happy for the purchase."
"In less than three years, we were able to save enough money to pay for the MOGS unit with the oxygen needs of our system. We [now] prevent the loss of cylinders to other agencies."
The Questions Chiefs Actually Ask
What oxygen equipment does NOVAIR offer for EMS agencies and fire departments?
NOVAIR manufactures the Mobile Oxygen Generating System (MOGS) line for first responders. These systems generate oxygen on-site and fill cylinders in-house, removing dependence on scheduled deliveries. MOGS units are available in three sizes and can be installed at a station or mounted in a custom NOVAIR trailer for deployment directly to an incident.
How much does an on-site oxygen cylinder refilling station cost for a fire department?
Cost varies by model and required oxygen flow rate. NOVAIR's Mobile Oxygen Generating System (MOGS) is available in three sizes to match different agency volumes. After the upfront equipment investment, ongoing costs are limited to routine maintenance and standard electricity. Speak with a US-based NOVAIR representative for a quote tailored to your call volume and cylinder needs.
What purity does the MOGS produce, and is that right for EMS use?
The MOGS produces 93% (+/-3%) oxygen with continuous quality monitoring, with automatic safety shutdown if needed. Our team will walk you through exactly what the equipment delivers to meet all requirements.
What types of cylinders can NOVAIR's EMS oxygen systems fill?
NOVAIR's MOGS systems can fill a range of cylinder sizes. Depending on the model, multiple D, E, M, H, or K-sized cylinders can be filled per day. A blast containment chamber can hold two D-sized cylinders, and H/K-sized cylinders can be mounted or connected to a cascade system.
Can the system be deployed to the emergency site instead of staying at the station?
Yes. MOGS systems can easily fit through a normal-sized doorway and can be placed in an average truck to be transported. A MOGS model can also be mounted in a specialized NOVAIR trailer with attached generator, allowing oxygen to be easily produced at a staging area, shelter, or field site.
What happens if it goes down during a surge?
NOVAIR provides direct manufacturer service and support, not a reseller relationship. Most agencies also keep a cylinder reserve or a cascade system during transition. We will help you with that redundancy during installation.
