Using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology, Vacuum PSA, and other leading technologies, NOVAIR USA offers a complete line of standard oxygen generators (OG) with outputs from 25 to 5500 SCFH (12 to 2360 LPM), large oxygen generating cylinder filling plants (CFP), a range of Plug-and-Play oxygen generators (COMPACT), Mobile Oxygen Generating Systems with Cylinder Filling Plants (MOGSCFP) with the ability to fill up to 160 D-sized cylinders per day with O2, and can even place much of the above oxygen equipment in trailers and containers to take oxygen right to where you need it most. History

1995

Oxygen Generating Systems, Inc. (OGSI ) was founded with the mission of becoming the world’s premier supplier of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Generators for Industrial and Medical (Hospital) applications requiring up to 5 tons of Oxygen per day.
OGSI won the Regional Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Award for “1995 Startup Business of the Year.”

1996

OGSI introduced its first complete product line which were the most energy efficient PSA Oxygen Generators available and offered numerous advantages over competitors’ equipment (i.e. ASME-Rated Tanks, PLC-Controlled with NEMA-Rated Electrical Enclosures and European Community ‘CE’ Compliant Wiring).
The First International Sales were made in China, Korea, Switzerland and Australia.

1997

U.S. Public municipalities began to order equipment for water treatment plants.
OGSI developed a proprietary Remote Telecommunications Package and installed it on plants sent to Africa, South America and remote US locations.

1998

The Western New York Technology Development Center (WNYTDC) assisted OGSI in the development of an enhanced 99% concentration Oxygen PSA Technology.

OGSI was awarded a World Bank-Sponsored Medical development project for 3 large Hospital Systems in Argentina.

1999

NASA selected OGSI for a Mission-Critical Application at Cape Canaveral.

OGSI was awarded Patent #5,928,610 for an enhanced single-bed Vacuum-assisted PSA (VPSA) miniature system design.

2000

OGSI signs a Joint Venture agreement with a Chinese partner creating OGEAS Sea Farming Co. Ltd. This is an operational fish farm employing the latest in high technology equipment (including OGSI systems).

OGSI is selected as the ‘Western New York Exporter of the Year’ by the SBDC.

OGSI is selected as the ‘New York State Exporter of the Year’ by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

2001

In February of this year, OGSA – Inc. Magazine names OGSI one of America’s 500 fastest-growing private companies on its annual ranking of the Inc. 500 . OGSI  ranked # 331 on the list with a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 58.5% for the Five-Year Period from 1996-2001.

2002

With continued expansion into new geographic regions, OGSI equipment was installed in over 50 countries. The company was involved in its first projects that were funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in the West Bank area of Israel. There were also over 100 Major Medical Facilities, including the Beijing University Hospital, using OGSI equipment.

2003

The company moved to a location with over 24,000 square feet of space at 70 John Glenn Drive in Amherst, NY. The expanded office and manufacturing space gave the company the ability to meet the growing demands for its products around the world.

2004

In February of this year, OGSI was acquired by the Audubon Machinery Corporation (AMC) and continues to operate as Oxygen Generating Systems International. With the significant financial resources of that organization available to it, OGSI is now expanding its operations, developing new products and continuing to enter new markets with its product line. With great success OGSI hosted its first ever International Sales Conference at its headquarters in Amherst, NY in August and had representatives and distributors from over 20 countries and regions of the USA present.

2005

Schlyer Machine (sister company to OGSI) is rated Top 20% of Government Contractors by Open Ratings.

OGSI moved its operations to a 40,000 square foot facility. The new Building was built on a 4 acre plot that is a remediated former Brownfield site. OGSI has implemented energy efficient measures in accordance with LEED (Leader in Energy Efficient Designs) guidelines, in order to obtain a certified Green Building Status from the US Green Building Council. The Council is a coalition of leaders from the building industry that promote environmentally responsible workplaces.

2007

Audubon Machinery Corp. (AMC) is recognized by New York State Small Business Development Center Hall of Fame.

Audubon Machinery Corp. receives the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Certification.

2007 - 2012

AMC qualifies as a Top 5000 Fastest Growing Company by Inc. 5000.

AMC lands on Business First’s Fast Track 50 six consecutive years.

2008 - 2012

Audubon Machinery Corp. receives its conformity mark. The CE mark indicates our compliance with EU legislation and enables the free movement of products within the European market.

Audubon Machinery (including OGSI and SMC-Roe), is proud to announce that it has been acquired by NOVAIR, the worldwide leading manufacturer of on-site gas production systems, effective January 1, 2022. As part of NOVAIR Group, OGSI and the US market are gaining access to a wide range of high-end solutions greatly complementing its existing ranges, including industrial and medical PSA oxygen & nitrogen generators, high pressure oxygen Cylinder Filling Systems, and Medical Air/Vacuum Systems. More synergies are also expected through NOVAIR services and engineering competencies now recognized worldwide.
