Features
INCLUDES
- Copper pipe extensions: type K copper pipe cleaned for use with oxygen (complies with ASTM B819).
- Coupling port: for analogue pressure gauge (positive or negative pressure gauge).
- ID tag: for gas as well as flow direction.
- Emergency port and gauge installation: ¼” threaded coupling made from brass. If included, goes on the left copper pipe extension.
- Positive and/or negative pressure gauges: ½” or 2” body size pressure gauge for either positive or negative pressure, ¼” back connector.
Specifications
Materials
- Box: Made from 18-gauge steel, 3 pieces screw-in assembly and painted in white powder coating. Includes ABS white plastic caps that cover the valve placement holes (and also to avoid galvanic corrosion). Includes a hinged window also made with 18-gauge steel, it closes via a magnetic seal. The window is made from a 3mm acrylic glass. For use only indoors.
- Isolation Valves: Includes ball valves for 600 psi to comply with the NFPA 99 code. The valves are three bodied made of brass with stainless steel ball and a ¼ turn handle. Weldable ends to be welded with type K copper extension pipes (pipes comply with ASTM B819).
Box Depth
- We offer the valve box with a depth of either 3.9 in (100 mm) or 5.5 in (140 mm). Box depth depends on client specification or on valve configuration (2” valves cannot be placed in a 3.9 in depth box).
Isolation Valves
- Number, size, configuration and gas type for each valve must be specified by the client.
